MUSCAT : In a public awareness message, the ROP called on internet users to avoid defamation, spreading rumours, abusing or threatening others online, hacking systems or digital accounts, and sharing other people’s personal information without consent.
“Your awareness keeps you safe, and your commitment keeps the community safe. Together, we can build a safer digital world,” the ROP said in its awareness campaign.
