Muscat: The programme forms part of national efforts to maximise the benefit of the Sultan Qaboos Scientific Chairs by expanding international research collaboration, equipping Omani researchers and innovators with global expertise, and supporting high-quality studies that offer practical solutions to key challenges.
The approved projects cover a broad range of disciplines, including humanities, social sciences, applied sciences and technology, reflecting Oman’s comprehensive vision to promote knowledge-based development across multiple sectors.
The initiative is also expected to help enhance the capabilities of researchers and innovators, encourage the exchange of expertise with international institutions, and generate research outcomes that can contribute to national priorities.
