LONDON: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has received an invitation from His Majesty King Charles III of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to undertake a state visit to the UK.
According to the Oman News Agency (ONA), the invitation was conveyed by UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer during his meeting with His Majesty the Sultan at the British Prime Minister’s headquarters in London.
The meeting took place during His Majesty’s private visit to the United Kingdom and reflected the close and longstanding relations between Oman and the UK.
