MUSCAT : Oman Air has commenced direct flights between Muscat and Singapore from July 2, 2026, adding a new Southeast Asian destination to its expanding international network.

The service will operate four times a week on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, giving travellers from Oman a direct connection to one of Asia’s leading tourism, business and innovation hubs.

The new route offers passengers convenient access to Singapore’s multicultural neighbourhoods, acclaimed food scene, world-class shopping districts and landmark attractions such as Gardens by the Bay. Singapore also serves as a major gateway to destinations across Southeast Asia, making the route attractive for both leisure and corporate travellers.

Oman Air said the launch is further strengthened by its recent entry into the oneworld alliance, enabling smoother connections through partner airlines to key markets including Australia, Japan and Hong Kong. Passengers will also benefit from alliance privileges such as lounge access, mileage accrual and reward redemptions.

The Arabian Stories is on board the inaugural Muscat–Singapore flight to bring readers exclusive coverage of the landmark launch and the growing ties between Oman and Singapore.
