MUSCAT : The regulation was issued by His Excellency Lt. Gen. Hassan Mohsin Al Shuraiqi, Inspector General of Police and Customs, based on the National Records Law issued under Royal Decree No. 52/2024.
According to the ROP, the issuance of the executive regulation is part of efforts to finalise the legal and regulatory system governing national records, while supporting the development of procedures and enhancing the efficiency of data and record management.
