MUSCAT : Oman national Paralympic athletics team will participate in the Paralympic Athletics Grand Prix. The event is hosted by the Republic of Tunisia during 14-21 June 2026.
The participation is part of the team’s training and qualification program for the Asian Paralympic Athletics Championships scheduled to take place in Japan this coming October. The team aims to achieve qualifying marks that would strengthen the Sultanate of Oman’s presence in the continental event.
The competition represents a key technical milestone within the team’s current season preparation plan. Athletes are seeking to record additional accredited qualifying marks and build upon the positive results the team has achieved in its recent international participations.

The national team has recently completed a series of intensive training programs covering technical, physical, and specialized aspects, under the supervision of the coaching staff. The staff has focused on raising the athletes’ readiness, improving their technical performance, and enhancing their personal records to meet the demands of international competitions.
