AMMAN – The state-run Jordan News Agency said the interception operation resulted in missile fragments falling in the area, but no injuries, fatalities or property damage were reported.
Engineering teams were deployed to the sites where debris landed and handled the missile remnants to ensure they contained no unexploded materials or other hazards.
The report added that the Jordan Armed Forces are closely monitoring ongoing regional developments and remain at the highest level of operational readiness to safeguard the Kingdom’s airspace and protect its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
