MUSCAT – The deal was revealed alongside Genoa’s plans to establish an academy in the Sultanate of Oman, aimed at developing young players’ technical skills using the club’s methodology under an Italian coaching staff working in direct coordination with Genoa’s technical setup in Italy.
Al Kharusi progressed from the under‑18 category to the youth team during the 2024‑2025 season and went on to make 28 appearances in the Italian Primavera league.
“Signing this agreement with Genoa is an important step for me and a great honour,” Al Kharusi said. “My focus now is on the future, on continuing to work hard and improve myself to help the team succeed.”
