MUSCAT : Police in Oman’s South Al Sharqiyah Governorate have arrested three individuals accused of stealing a vehicle and subsequently setting it on fire in the Wilayat of Masirah, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) said on Tuesday.
According to the ROP, the suspects were taken into custody following investigations into the incident. Authorities alleged that the three individuals stole the vehicle before deliberately setting it ablaze in Masirah.
The police said legal procedures against the accused are currently being completed and the case has been referred to the relevant authorities for further action.
