MUSCAT – The clarification addresses a common question about whether drones require a license when used inside enclosed buildings and halls.
According to the Authority, the use of drones inside buildings and enclosed venues is exempt from licensing requirements that apply to outdoor drone operations. However, operators must comply with all safety and security regulations and obtain approval from the owner or management of the premises.
