BEIRUT – The strikes reportedly hit homes in the al-Arab neighbourhood of Deir al-Zahrani at dawn, causing multiple casualties. Authorities have not yet released an official death toll.
According to the NNA, emergency and civil defence teams recovered a number of bodies from the debris while search operations remained ongoing for others believed to be trapped under collapsed structures.
The agency said the airstrikes struck residential homes while residents were asleep, resulting in additional injuries among civilians.

The attacks came as the Israeli military issued an urgent warning to residents living south of the Zahrani River, urging them to evacuate the area immediately.
