MUSCAT : The expansion comes in response to the rapid urban, industrial and investment growth in Duqm, which has become a key economic and logistics hub in the Sultanate of Oman. Authorities said this development requires continuous enhancement of safety and emergency services to support residents, workers and vital projects in the area.

The authority said the new service will improve field response capabilities and reduce the time required to reach emergency cases and incidents, thereby increasing the efficiency of handling accidents according to high standards of readiness and response.
It added that it continues to implement development plans across various governorates of Oman in line with the objectives of Oman Vision 2040, aimed at improving the quality and coverage of civil defence and ambulance services nationwide.
