MUSCAT : The award was received by H.E. Dr. Hilal bin Ali Al-Sabti, Minister of Health, during the 79th session of the World Health Assembly currently being held in Geneva.
The World Health Organization praised Oman for its continued progress in maternal and child healthcare programs, alongside its robust systems for early detection and follow-up treatment. The organisation highlighted that the achievement reflects the efficiency of Oman’s national healthcare system and its commitment to maintaining international health standards.
The recognition further underscores the success of the preventive healthcare strategies implemented by the Ministry of Health, as well as the dedication of national healthcare professionals working across the Sultanate’s medical institutions.
