Muscat: The meeting was chaired by His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik bin Taimur Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, and focused on enhancing cooperation and arriving at unified visions that support Oman’s comprehensive development journey.

During the meeting, His Highness praised the efforts of the Council of State in serving the nation and its citizens, highlighting its role in supporting the country’s march towards broader development and safeguarding its achievements. He affirmed that the Cabinet gives due importance to the views and recommendations of the Council of State and remains committed to supporting initiatives that contribute to sustainable growth and meet the aspirations of citizens.

For their part, His Excellency the Chairman of the Council of State and members of the Council’s Office expressed appreciation for the Cabinet’s continued attention toward strengthening joint work and deepening coordination between the two councils.
