School timings revised in Oman amid rising temperatures

Private schools in Oman have begun revising school timings following an official directive from the Ministry of Education aimed at safeguarding students from soaring summer temperatures.

MUSCAT : According to a circular issued by an Indian school in Oman to parents, students from kindergarten to Grade IV will now be dismissed at 11am, while students from Grade V to Grade XII will leave at 12 noon.

The revised schedule has been introduced as a precautionary measure to protect students during periods of extreme heat.
