MUSCAT : The ministry said the new measures are being introduced in coordination with relevant authorities and Oman Post as part of efforts to streamline recruitment procedures for expatriate workers and improve the efficiency and quality of services provided.

Under the new system, recruitment agencies will be required to follow approved procedures when submitting applications to recruit Filipino workers, including completing mandatory medical examination requirements through a designated electronic platform before workers arrive in Oman.

The ministry said detailed procedures and operational guidelines will also be circulated to overseas recruitment agencies in coordination with the Embassy of the Philippines in Oman.

Applications for online medical examinations can be submitted through the official Online Medical Examination Application System platform.

According to the ministry, the initiative aims to enhance procedural efficiency, strengthen regulatory oversight, and facilitate recruitment processes for both employers and workers.

For inquiries, applicants and agencies have been advised to contact Oman Post customer service on 1001 or the Philippines support line on 63285400842.
