MUSCAT – The ministry said the requirement applies to operators of land transport management and routing applications, as well as operators of foreign trucks entering Oman.
According to the ministry, the move is aimed at regulating and monitoring the movement of goods, increasing compliance levels across the sector and safeguarding the rights of all stakeholders involved in freight transport operations.
The ministry further stressed that adherence to the requirement forms an essential part of the regulatory framework governing the transport sector in Oman. It urged transport operators and service beneficiaries to obtain the required transport documentation through the dedicated electronic platform before initiating any freight activity.
