Oman’s CPA warns against using Flying Tiger glass cups over lead, cadmium risks

The Consumer Protection Authority (CPA) has issued a warning against the use of “Flying Tiger” glass drinking cups (220 ml) - models sold during 2024–2025 - after tests found elevated levels of lead and cadmium in the external printing.

MUSCAT : According to the authority, the affected products carry operational numbers 3055350, 30533912 and 3052986. The contamination may pose harmful health effects to consumers if the products continue to be used.

The recalled products are branded under Flying Tiger and were marketed as 220 ml glass drinking cups.
The CPA has urged consumers to immediately discontinue using the products as part of its consumer safety measures and ongoing market monitoring efforts.
