SHARJAH – The award is presented by the Regional Centre for Educational Planning (RCEP) in Sharjah, affiliated with UNESCO, in recognition of its Ra’idat Incubator project, which empowers women in entrepreneurship and aligns with the goals of Oman Vision 2040.

This is a pioneering national initiative launched by the Omani Women’s Academy to empower women in entrepreneurship by providing an integrated and innovative environment that supports the transformation of ideas into sustainable business ventures.
The project represents an integrated digital model in the field of sustainable vocational education, offering a comprehensive digital learning experience that contributes to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4. The initiative focuses on developing vocational skills, ensuring equal educational opportunities, and promoting education for sustainable development. It also supports women’s participation in the national economy in line with the objectives of Oman Vision 2040.
The incubator targets productive families, job seekers, and women with disabilities seeking to begin successful entrepreneurial journeys. It provides participants with an integrated system of practical tools and modern skills, in addition to guidance and mentoring programmes delivered by a select group of experts and specialised consultants.
The initiative also aims to create opportunities for partnerships and funding while supporting the establishment of women-led startups capable of competing in the market and contributing effectively to the local economy.
The Omani Women’s Academy is a youth initiative dedicated to empowering women and developing their leadership and professional skills through specialised training programmes and workshops. These programmes aim to enhance participants’ capabilities, refine their talents, and prepare them for active participation in development and community-building efforts.
