UZBEKISTAN : The Omani side lost to Uzbekistan by two sets to nil, with the hosts dominating the match 21-9 and 21-11 to secure a place in the quarter-finals.
With the result, Oman’s journey in the continental tournament came to an end after a spirited performance throughout the competition, which began on May 5 and concludes on Sunday.
The national team had earlier shown promise during the group stages, where they registered an impressive 2-0 victory over Singapore. Despite later losing to Thailand by the same scoreline, Oman managed to qualify for the knockout stages as one of the top teams from their group.

The championship featured 25 Asian teams competing in a single round-robin format during the first stage, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the knockout rounds, which were played on an elimination basis leading up to the final.
