Beijing: According to Iran’s Foreign Ministry, Araghchi will meet his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi during the visit. The talks are expected to focus on strengthening bilateral ties between Iran and China, along with reviewing key regional and international developments.

The diplomatic engagement comes at a critical time, as negotiations between Iran and the United States remain stalled. Efforts to end the ongoing war, sparked by military actions from Israel and the US on February 28, have yet to yield a breakthrough, keeping the region on edge.

China, meanwhile, continues to position itself as a key diplomatic player in the crisis. With its longstanding policy of noninterference in internal affairs and established ties with multiple stakeholders in the conflict, Beijing is seen as a potential mediator capable of facilitating dialogue.
