MUSCAT : The advisory emphasised that cyclists must always be aware of their surroundings and adhere to all applicable road safety regulations to ensure their own safety and that of other road users.
For motorcycle riders, the ROP outlined a set of key responsibilities, including complying with speed limits, giving priority to pedestrians at designated crossings, and obeying all traffic laws and road signs.
Riders were also urged to maintain constant attention while driving and avoid any distractions, particularly the use of mobile phones or other devices while on the road.
