Muscat: The Ministry of Labour stressed that eligible beneficiaries must activate their job search status at least once a month between the 11th and 20th of each month. Failure to do so may result in the suspension of the Job Security Allowance, in accordance with Article (88) of the Executive Regulations of the Social Protection Law.
The Ministry highlighted that this requirement is designed not only to maintain eligibility for the allowance but also to ensure fair competition for advertised job opportunities and to enhance overall employment prospects for job seekers.
Beneficiaries can activate their job search status through multiple channels. The process can be completed online via the Ministry of Labour’s official website or through SMS services by following the prescribed steps. Additionally, the “Maak” mobile application offers a convenient platform for users to update and activate their job search status electronically.
