MUSCAT : The tender is open to eligible and specialised local firms, with the scope including manufacturing, supply, delivery, testing, commissioning, training, warranty support, and long-term spare parts provision in line with technical, commercial, and regulatory requirements.
According to Mwasalat, the initiative is part of its broader strategy to modernise its transport fleet, enhance operational efficiency, and support the transition towards more sustainable mobility solutions, including electric buses.
The tender document distribution began on Sunday, April 26, 2026, and will continue until May 24, 2026. The final date for submission of bids has been set for Sunday, June 14, 2026 at 12:00 noon.
