MUSCAT – The initiative was carried out by the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources in Mirbat, in cooperation with the directorate’s control department and Mirbat Municipality, under the supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources.
The campaign aims to reduce potential environmental and public health impacts resulting from the phenomenon, while maintaining beach cleanliness and protecting the marine ecosystem along the Dhofar coast.
