MUSCAT – The meeting reviewed the longstanding friendly relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the United Kingdom and explored ways to further strengthen cooperation across various fields of mutual interest.
Both sides also exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments and their broader implications.
The discussions underscored the importance of intensifying international efforts to reduce tensions, expand channels of dialogue, and advance peaceful and diplomatic solutions to regional challenges. Both sides stressed that such efforts are essential to strengthening security and stability at both regional and global levels.

They also highlighted the importance of ensuring the safety and security of maritime navigation and the uninterrupted flow of maritime transport, noting its critical role in supporting global supply chains and economic stability.
The meeting was attended by senior officials, including His Excellency Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Abdullah Al Hinai, Ambassador-at-Large, and His Excellency Sheikh Ahmed bin Hashel Al Maskari, Head of the Gulf Cooperation Council and Regional Neighbourhood Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, along with officials from both sides.
