Oman’s Sultan Haitham City attracts more than RO 3 billion in investments

Muscat – Oman’s Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning said that Sultan Haitham City has already succeeded in attracting investments exceeding RO 3 billion, underscoring strong investor confidence in one of the sultanate’s flagship urban developments.

The ministry said the scale of investment reflects growing interest from both local and international stakeholders in the project, which is being developed as a modern, integrated city aligned with Oman’s long-term economic diversification plans.

Located in Muscat Governorate, the city will include a wide range of housing options, alongside green spaces, smart infrastructure, schools, healthcare facilities and commercial districts. The project emphasizes walkability, environmental sustainability and high-quality urban living.
