MUSCAT – The authority said the winds will lead to rising sea waves along the coasts of Musandam Governorate and the Sea of Oman, with wave heights ranging from moderate to rough, reaching up to 2.5 meters.

Dust and sandstorms are also expected in desert and open areas, leading to reduced horizontal visibility.

According to the daily forecast, partly cloudy to cloudy skies are expected over northern governorates, with chances of isolated rainfall over northern regions and parts of the Al Hajar Mountains. The rest of the country will see mostly clear skies.

There is also a possibility of low clouds or fog patches over parts of South Al Sharqiyah Governorate, Al Wusta Governorate and Dhofar Governorate, which could further reduce visibility during early morning hours.
