MUSCAT : Statistics released by the National Center for Statistics and Information revealed that Oman’s oil exports grew by 2.2 percent by the end of February 2026, reaching 50.31 million barrels, compared to 49.25 million barrels during the same period in 2025.
Despite the increase in export volumes, the average oil price saw a significant drop of 13.1 percent, settling at US$63.3 per barrel, down from US$72.8 recorded in the corresponding period last year.
On the production front, Oman reported a 3.8 percent rise in average daily oil output, which reached 1.02 million barrels per day by the end of February 2026, up from 986,900 barrels per day a year earlier.

Overall oil production also registered a similar growth rate of 3.8 percent, totaling 60.46 million barrels during the first two months of 2026, compared to 58.23 million barrels in the same period of 2025.
