MUSCAT : Starting April 5, business owners in the Sultanate can submit their requests exclusively through the Employers’ e-Services Portal on the Ministry’s official website.
The application window will remain open until May 31, with the Ministry pointing out that these permits are vital for ensuring employee safety while maintaining essential operations across Oman.
The move allows eligible establishments to continue operating during restricted midday hours, provided they meet safety and regulatory requirements designed to protect workers from extreme summer heat.
The Ministry urged business owners to adhere strictly to the application timeline and ensure all conditions are fulfilled to safeguard employee health and safety.
