UAE intercepts 38 Iranian attacks on March 30

The United Arab Emirates’ air defence systems successfully intercepted a fresh wave of aerial threats on Monday, March 30, as tensions in the region continue to escalate.

Dubai: According to the UAE Ministry of Defence, air defence units intercepted 11 ballistic missiles and 27 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) launched from Iran, preventing potential damage and casualties.

The ministry reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding the nation’s sovereignty and protecting civilian lives amid the ongoing conflict, which has seen rising injuries and casualties across the region.

Officials highlighted the scale of the continued attacks, noting that since the beginning of what they described as “blatant Iranian aggression,” UAE air defences have successfully intercepted a total of 425 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles, and 1,941 UAVs.
