MUSCAT – In Saudi Arabia, the Ministry of Defence confirmed that its air defences intercepted and destroyed 10 drones in the past few hours. Ministry Spokesman Turki al-Maliki noted that the ministry had also intercepted two drones the previous night.

Kuwait’s Ministry of Defence reported that its air defence systems had intercepted missile and drone attacks. Spokesman Saud Al-Atwan told the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that any explosions heard were the result of defensive operations. The Kuwaiti National Guard also shot down four drones within its secured areas, according to official spokesman Jad’an Fadel, who emphasised that the measures aim to protect vital sites and enhance security.

Meanwhile, the UAE Ministry of Defence confirmed that its air defences engaged missile and drone attacks originating from Iran. Officials stated that sounds reported across the UAE were caused by air defence systems intercepting ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones.
