TOKYO : Driving for Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team, Antonelli delivered a dominant performance at Suzuka, crossing the finish line 13.7 seconds ahead of Oscar Piastri of McLaren. Charles Leclerc of Ferrari secured third place to complete the podium.

Antonelli’s teammate George Russell finished fourth, further strengthening Mercedes’ strong showing, while defending world champion Lando Norris placed fifth for McLaren. Ferrari’s Lewis Hamilton followed closely behind in sixth.

With this victory, Antonelli now leads the championship standings by nine points over Russell, marking a remarkable start to his campaign and signaling the arrival of a new force in Formula 1.
