Oman extends ban on drone activities

MUSCAT : Oman’s Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has extended the suspension of permits for drone and other aerial activities, reaffirming that the ban remains in place as part of ongoing safety measures.

In a statement, the CAA said the continued enforcement of the circular aims to safeguard lives and property while ensuring the security of the Sultanate’s airspace.

The authority stressed that full compliance with the directive is a national responsibility, calling on individuals, operators and companies to strictly adhere to the ban on drone operations.
