Dubai: According to the Emirates News Agency, citing the Abu Dhabi Media Office, the incidents occurred following the successful interception of a ballistic missile by UAE air defense systems.
Falling debris from the intercepted missile led to two separate fires in the vicinity of Khalifa Economic Zone Abu Dhabi. Emergency services and relevant authorities responded promptly and are currently managing the situation.
Officials confirmed that five individuals, all of Indian nationality, sustained injuries as a result of the incidents. The injuries were reported to range from minor to moderate, with those affected receiving necessary medical attention.
