Dubai: In an official statement shared on social media platform X, the UAE Ministry of Defence announced that its air defence units engaged multiple incoming aerial threats, including ballistic missiles and drones.
Authorities clarified that the sounds reported across certain areas were the result of defensive interception operations carried out by the country’s air defence systems.
The Ministry reassured the public that the situation is being closely monitored and that all necessary measures are being taken to ensure national security and public safety.
