MUSCAT — Royal Oman Police (ROP) has announced the temporary suspension of in-person services at its service centres in several governorates on March 25 due to ongoing weather conditions affecting parts of the Sultanate.

In a statement, the ROP said services related to passports, civil status and traffic will be suspended across service buildings in most governorates, with the exception of South Al Sharqiyah, Al Wusta and Dhofar.

The move comes as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of citizens and residents amid the prevailing weather situation.

Authorities confirmed that electronic services will continue to be available through the ROP’s digital platforms, allowing users to access key services remotely.

Meanwhile, police command centres and operational units will remain fully functional around the clock to handle emergencies and ensure public safety.
