MUSCAT – In its latest update, the authority said cumulonimbus cloud formations associated with heavy thunderstorms are expected to approach the Sultanate in the coming hours, particularly impacting Al Dhahirah Governorate and Al Wusta Governorate.
Thunderstorm activity is already affecting North Al Sharqiyah Governorate and South Al Sharqiyah Governorate, in addition to parts of Muscat Governorate, with further cloud build-up expected to extend across most regions.
The forecast indicates generally cloudy skies nationwide, with continued thunderstorm development, particularly over Al Wusta.
