MUSCAT : A seven-year-old child has died after drowning in a water pool in the Wilayat of Barka, authorities said.
According to the Search and Rescue Sector, the child was involved in a drowning incident in a water pool in Barka, located in South Al Batinah Governorate.
Emergency teams responded to the situation and the child was transported to hospital for treatment. However, the child later succumbed to injuries.
