MUSCAT — Four children were killed and three others seriously injured after an abandoned building collapsed in Oman’s Wilayat of Rustaq, police said on Sunday.
According to the Royal Oman Police, the incident occurred in the Al Haimli area, where seven children had entered a deserted structure. The building suddenly gave way, resulting in four fatalities, while the remaining three sustained critical injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment.
Authorities said investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding the collapse.
