MUSCAT : The Ministry has issued a warning urging farmers, livestock breeders, beekeepers, and fishermen in areas expected to be affected by an approaching low-pressure system to take necessary precautions.
Officials advised residents to safeguard their property, avoid dams and drainage channels, and refrain from venturing out to sea during the formation of thunderstorm cells.
The alert follows the Civil Aviation Authority’s (CAA) forecast of unstable weather across the Sultanate from March 20 to March 30, 2026, including rainfall of varying intensity, thunderstorms, active winds, and the potential for flash floods and hazardous sea conditions.
