Hanoi: Authorities are closely monitoring jet fuel availability in the region and working with suppliers to ensure adequate supplies and reduce disruption to passengers and airline operations.

Airlines operating both domestic and international flights in Vietnam are advised to review their schedules and prepare contingency plans in case the shortage affects their operations.

Industry experts say measures could include reducing the frequency of flights on certain routes or adjusting travel schedules to better manage fuel consumption. Authorities said they were in talks with fuel suppliers and airlines to stabilise supplies and avoid major disruption to the country’s aviation sector.

Vietnam’s aviation industry has experienced strong growth in recent years, and reliable fuel supply has become a key factor in ensuring smooth travel for domestic and international passengers.
