MUSCAT : The move comes alongside production cuts by other major oil producers in the region.
The United Arab Emirates has decreased output by 500,000 to 800,000 barrels per day, while Kuwait reduced production by 500,000 barrels per day. Iraq announced cuts of around 2.9 million barrels per day, according to sources cited in the Bloomberg report.
