MUSCAT : In a statement posted on the X platform, His Excellency Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, said the Omani government is working to ensure that everyone hoping to travel home can do so safely, regardless of nationality or passport.
“For everyone hoping to fly home from the Gulf, the Omani government is working with your governments and international airlines to organise flights to get you home,” he said.
He emphasized that the effort includes people of all nationalities, underscoring the importance of safety and humanitarian considerations.
“We mean everyone, whatever passport you hold. The citizens of all countries have the human right to safety and security. People matter,” he added.
The foreign minister also called for an end to conflict, urging the international community to prioritise peace. “Let’s stop the war now,” he said.
