MUSCAT – Indian online travel platform EaseMyTrip is planning to operate charter flights from Oman to India to assist stranded passengers amid widespread flight cancellations across the Middle East, Founder and Chairman Nishant Pitti said on Monday.
In a post on social media platform X, Pitti said the company was preparing special charter services from Oman to facilitate the safe return of Indian nationals and other travellers affected by ongoing airspace disruptions.

The announcement comes as escalating hostilities involving the United States, Israel and Iran have triggered sweeping restrictions on civilian air traffic across parts of West Asia. Iran and Israel have closed their airspace to civilian flights, while several neighbouring countries have imposed temporary limitations, leading to cascading disruptions across major regional hubs.
Airports in Doha, Bahrain, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Muscat have witnessed hundreds of flight cancellations and delays over the past two days, according to airport sources and airline advisories.
