MUSCAT — Oman Air has cancelled flights to and from Moscow, Amman and Khasab until further notice and temporarily suspended services on several Gulf routes, citing the evolving regional situation.

In a statement posted on its official X account, the national carrier said flights to and from Moscow’s Sheremetyevo Airport (SVO), Amman (AMM) and Khasab (KHS) have been cancelled until further notice.

Services to and from Dubai (DXB), Bahrain (BAH), Doha (DOH), Dammam (DMM) and Kuwait (KWI) have been temporarily suspended, the airline said.

“All other flights are operating as scheduled; however, please expect some delays,” Oman Air added, advising passengers to check its website for the latest updates.

The announcement comes amid heightened regional tensions that have prompted airspace restrictions and operational adjustments by airlines across the Middle East.
