DUBAI : Internet access was disrupted in parts of Iran, including the capital Tehran, with national connectivity falling to 54% of ordinary levels, internet monitoring group NetBlocks said on Saturday.
“Live metrics show a disruption to internet access in parts of Iran including Tehran with connectivity at 54% of ordinary levels,” NetBlocks said in a post on X.
The group said the incident comes as the United States and Israel target Iran with military strikes, adding that the outage would limit visibility into incidents unfolding on the ground.

A chart shared by NetBlocks showed a sharp drop in network connectivity late on Feb. 28, following several days of near-normal levels.
There was no immediate comment from Iranian authorities on the reported disruption.
