LONDON – Oil prices edged higher on Friday as investors focused on the outcome of nuclear talks between the United States and Iran taking place in Oman, with uncertainty over the negotiations sustaining concerns about Middle East supply risks.
Brent crude futures rose 1.1% to $68.09 a barrel by 0627 GMT, from a previous close of $67.34. U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude gained 1.2% to $63.88 a barrel, up from $63.11 in the prior session.
