MUSCAT: A 12-year-old Indian student was found dead after reportedly falling from a residential apartment building in Muscat, authorities said.
The victim, Basil George, was a Class 7 student at Indian School Wadi Kabir. He was the son of George Meckattil Binu and Bindu George, natives of Udumbannoor near Thodupuzha in Kerala’s Idukki district, according to community sources.
The incident occurred at an apartment building in Wadi Kabir. Officials said investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding the fall.

According to school authorities, Basil was a bright student and served as the deputy head of his school house, actively participating in academic and co-curricular activities.
The school management has expressed its deep condolences to the bereaved family and extended support during this difficult time.
