MUSCAT – According to a statement from the Royal Oman Police’s Traffic Directorate, the North Al Batinah Governorate Police Command stopped a number of vehicle drivers in the Wilayat of Liwa for deliberately disrupting traffic and disturbing public order.
The ROP pointed out that the drivers caused annoyance by creating excessive noise and engaged in behaviour that endangered their own lives as well as the lives of other road users.
Legal procedures are currently being completed against those involved.
